Notice how the sound and vision are out of sync at the beginning. The piper is walking normally, but the sound is much faster. Sounds like some sort of 'techno bagpipes'!
This blog started when I owned and MZ Skorpion Traveller and a bike magazine dismissed it with the phrase 'you can't tour on a single'. The Skorpion's gone and I now have a Triumph Bonneville, but I can't be bothered changing the title of the blog!

Scooting about Scotland
I thought I'd posted this before, but it must have been on a forum. Nice bit of video of a scooter rally in Scotland in 1959
First thing to mention is that this isn't in the Highlands (far too far South) - in fact, most of this is within about an hour of my house. Strange to see so many familiar places, but with very little traffic and much narrower roads.

Interesting film, good to see what some of the places I pass through looked like 50 odd years ago.
ReplyDeleteRight here's an idea,we could re run the route on our bikes next year, say around Easter?
Sounds like a plan. OK, who else is in?
DeleteAs long as you bring the tea and biscuits.
