This blog started when I owned and MZ Skorpion Traveller and a bike magazine dismissed it with the phrase 'you can't tour on a single'. The Skorpion's gone and I now have a Triumph Bonneville, but I can't be bothered changing the title of the blog!

Mary Barbour memorial update
Further to my previous post about social reformer Mary Barbour, there was an exhibition of maquettes of proposed designs for a sculpture of her in my local community centre.
There are a number of upcoming events to celebrate Mary's life, more details at this website.
I quite like the one where she is holding the placard, which almost certainly means it won't be chosen :)
