Lots of photos

I've posted loads of photos from bike shows held by Ayr Classic Motorcycle Club on Flickr The club held annual shows at nearby Fenwick, although for this year they returned to Ayr Racecourse. I had been at one of their shows in Ayr about 15 years ago, but unfortunately missed this years.
I've posted galleries from the shows in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Hope you enjoy them!

  1. Lots of nice bikes. Is the green Yamaha V-twin a factory offering? If it is, it's one I don't think we got over here. Looks like the kind of show I like, with a wide variety of makes to look at.

  2. It's a Yamaha SRV 250. It was never sold here either, but some were imported as used bikes from Japan. For all I know it might have been a 'home market only' model. Lovely wee bike though, isn't it?
Really good show and less than 20 miles from my house. Not only a wide variety of bikes at the show, but also those parked outside. In one of the pictures, there's an old Matchless, a Yamaha Thunderace, a Harley and a scooter parked next to each other. All the owners happily mingle with each other without any snobbishness, all enjoying the show.
